To build our product we are searching for:


Lead Optical Engineer in Holographic Imaging (m/f/d)


What you will do: 


  • Develop hardware that enables holographic imaging ensuring they are tailored for real-time cellular analysis

  • Take an existing minimum-viable product to the next level such that it is suitable for clinical testing

  • Improve upon the conceptualized optical design and lead the process of building the clinic-ready prototype.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate the optical systems with other components, such as software and mechanical elements.

  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of the holographic imaging systems to ensure reliability, accuracy, and efficacy in cellular analysis.

  • Stay abreast of advancements in the field of optical engineering and holographic imaging, applying cutting-edge research to ongoing projects.

  • Work closely with stakeholders, including researchers and clinicians, to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.


What you should bring to the table:

  • Advanced degree (Master or PhD) in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. are highly advantageous.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the design and development of optical systems is required, with a specialized focus on holographic imaging technologies being particularly desirable.

  • A robust understanding of image acquisition systems, along with a nuanced grasp of the complexities involved in holographic imaging techniques.

  • Intermediate mechanical design skills are essential, with a preference for candidates who have specific experience in designing mechanical components that integrate with optical systems.

  • A keen analytical mindset and a proactive problem-solving approach are integral to success in this role.
